What are the three ways to grow an art or photography business?

There are only three ways to grow: First, acquire brand new customers—this is what everyone focuses on. Second, increase your average order value by raising prices or bundling items (for example, offering a print at 20% off when someone buys an original, or adding a calendar or merchandise item). Third, get existing customers to come back and purchase again. The easiest customer to get is the one you already have—this is a fundamental business principle that too many artists ignore.
