Facebook and Instagram only show your posts to about 2-4% of your followers organically. They’re holding 96-98% of your audience behind a paywall. These platforms exist to make money through advertising, not to give you free reach. They give you a small taste for free to get you to pay. If you’ve built a following but aren’t running ads, the vast majority of those people will never see your content.
