My prices range from $750 to around $1,400. I'm scared to price higher, especially since galleries would require doubling prices. Is this the right approach?

You have a significant gap in your pricing range. You need options below $750 and a clearer high end. Those small 12x12 collages you mentioned for around $100-125 aren’t ‘too silly’—they’re essential for customer acquisition. The number of new customers you acquire per year is one of the most predictive metrics for business growth. Lower-priced items let people make impulse purchases and start a relationship with you. Many will return later to buy your higher-priced work. Don’t dismiss the smaller pieces; they’re how you build a customer base that can become collectors over time. Also, consider offering your work at different price points through various formats and sizes.
