How should I display and merchandise my artwork online to maximize sales?
You must show your finished products exactly as customers will receive them—not just flat digital images. Display every angle: front, back, sides, close-ups showing texture or paint thickness, framing details, hanging hardware, and anything else that makes the piece tangible. For originals, show the paper quality, deckled edges, signatures, and overall presentation. Treat your website like a retail store where customers can examine products thoroughly. Assuming buyers understand what they’re getting is arrogant—they need to see everything to make a confident purchase decision.
