Should I use a tablet or traditional methods like clipboards for collecting contact information at shows?

Use both if possible. A clipboard is reliable—it doesn’t run out of batteries or need WiFi, and it works all day. If you have good mobile data coverage, you can also use an iPad or tablet. The dual approach is ideal: let people throw business cards in a bucket as they walk by without filling anything out, or have them complete information on a clipboard. This gives attendees options and ensures you capture contacts even when you’re busy talking to other visitors.
