What are live art shows and why are they so impactful for artists?

Live art shows involve using technological devices like your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop to go live on platforms like Zoom, Google Meets, Facebook, or Instagram while holding and merchandising your art during a sale. This is the single most impactful marketing tactic available. Results have been staggering across all experience levels—from artists just starting with no followers or email list to established artists with large followings. The key is following proper tradecraft: how you tease the sale, announce it, execute before/during/after, and use dedicated sale pages. When done correctly, even high-profile artists who initially sold little can generate $15,000-$20,000 in one day. The biggest challenge is getting artists to actually do them despite the fear of being on camera.
