How can artists maintain consistency when life gets in the way?
Consistency is the hardest fundamental, but the bar is doing your measured best. You’re a team of one—you’ll get sick, burned out, life happens. That’s not failure. You’re allowed to have good vintage years and bad vintage years. If you’re posting multiple times daily and can’t keep up, drop to daily. If not daily, go weekly. If life gets really rough, communicate monthly. You can drop a tier or two or three—just never go dark completely. The key is that some level of presence continues, because so much of marketing success is serendipity: having your message in the water at the right moment when someone is ready. Like a gallery that must keep its doors open even on slow days—you never know when the buyer walks in.
