I've been marketing my art online for a year with no sales. What could be wrong?
Start by diagnosing two fundamental issues. First, are you selling offline at all? If you can’t sell your work in person at shows or fairs, that’s a sign your offering may not be aligned with what the market wants. Second, examine your active marketing efforts: Are you actually driving traffic to your site? How many emails are you sending? Check your statistics to see if you’re generating any attention and eyeballs. The problem almost always comes down to one of these two things: either the offering isn’t aligned with market demand, or you’re not doing enough active marketing to generate attention.
