How does merchandising help bridge the gap between online and offline art sales?

The best way to sell art is in person where buyers can see, touch, and examine the actual product. Online merchandising recreates that experience as closely as possible by showing every detail customers would see in person—the texture, dimensions, how it looks on a wall, the back and sides, the finish. When you combine this with tools like wall preview (showing scale and placement) and augmented reality (trying it in their space), you’re systematically removing every advantage that in-person sales had over online sales. Each merchandising element brings the online experience closer to the offline one, reducing friction and increasing conversions.
