When should I start preparing my art business for the holiday selling season?

You need to start preparing now, during the summer season - not wait until fall. The fourth quarter (October, November, December) is the best art selling time of the year, with the holiday season now starting in October. However, you can’t just turn the lights on and launch your business at that point. You need months of advance preparation. If you haven’t been working on your business all year, summer is your last good opportunity to make necessary changes, get systems in place, and build momentum so you’re dialed in and ready to party when the biggest selling season hits.
