How should I set customer acquisition goals for my art business?
Use the 10X framework: Take the number of customers you acquired last year, multiply it by 10, and set that as your big hairy audacious goal for this year. Then break it down by month and by day. For example, if you acquired 70 customers last year, your goal would be 700 this year—that’s 58 per month or roughly 2 per day. Breaking it down this way makes the goal concrete and helps you realize what changes you need to make across your business and marketing to achieve it.
