I'm worried about looking bad on video or not being perfect when I go live. What should I do?

Get over yourself and do it anyway. You need to get comfortable selling and merchandising your art, and right now you’re not good at it - that’s just the reality for most artists starting out. The only way to get good is to practice, to get your reps and sets in. In the past, you had to load up your car, drive to shows, and spend entire days getting practice. Now with live video, you can practice instantly and repeatedly. It doesn’t even matter who’s watching at first - you need to get comfortable with the process. Don’t worry if you don’t sell on your first 50 attempts. The goal is to get the training wheels off, to fall down a few times and learn. This is a new skill you must develop, and the only way to develop it is through repetition, not perfection.
