What defines hot traffic and how do I create an audience of hot traffic?

Hot traffic consists of people who’ve shown very strong purchase intent. The primary example for online art sellers is someone who added artwork to their shopping cart but didn’t complete the purchase—they were on the 99-yard line. To track this, you need to set up conversion tracking with additional code that tells the advertising platform when someone adds an item to their cart and when they complete checkout. The difference between these two actions identifies your hot traffic—people who showed intent but didn’t buy. You can then show these people highly targeted ads encouraging them to complete their purchase.
