How do I find my niche as an artist?

Finding your niche often involves constant iteration over time, and sometimes means owning a geographic region, cultural identity, or specific subject matter that resonates with a defined audience. Don’t be afraid to pivot and experiment. Your niche might evolve from being ‘the artist who does X subject’ to ‘the artist known for Y in Z community.’ Building a reputation within a niche—even a regional one—can sustain a very successful business. You can always expand later once you’ve established yourself in one area.
