Should I do live video streams from my booth at art shows?
Live streaming from shows is highly valuable but underutilized. During downtime in your booth - slow periods, bad weather days, before or after show hours during setup/teardown - go live on social platforms. Show your booth, talk about the pieces, share stories, give behind-the-scenes looks at show life. Like anything, the fear of being on camera and filling dead air diminishes with practice. You don’t need to be perfect; you just need to start doing reps. This creates engaging content that builds the narrative around your work and show schedule, and people enjoy following along with the journey.
