How is consistent social media marketing like having a gallery represent your work?
Think of consistent social media marketing exactly like a gallery that represents your work. You wouldn’t want a gallery that only opens its doors sporadically - maybe Monday 1-3pm, Thursday at 11:30, and Saturday for 45 minutes. You’d want that gallery open as many hours as possible, every day, so the maximum number of potential buyers can walk in and discover your art. Social media works the same way. When you post consistently, your art is ‘available’ for people to discover whenever they happen to be scrolling through their feeds. Some will be your regular followers (like repeat gallery visitors), but many will be people who serendipitously encounter your work for the first time - just like someone walking past a gallery window. The more consistently you’re present, the more opportunities people have to discover and connect with your work.
