What should I focus on when writing emails about new artwork?

Vary your storytelling approach to connect with different people. Sometimes write about technique—how colors interact, what methods you used. Other times, share the emotional experience of the place or moment that inspired the piece. You can also share what was happening in your life when you created it—the chaos, the need to paint, how the work emerged. The goal is to give your audience quality content and genuine stories, not just sales pitches. Make each email different so you’re hitting different interests and connecting with different people. Focus on creating a relationship through authentic sharing, not just announcing that something is for sale.
