When setting up my artist website and business, how perfect does everything need to be before I launch?
Stop making everything so perfect and just ship it. The biggest mistake artists make is spending months trying to get their website or setup ‘just right’ before launching. Perfectionism kills momentum and prevents you from actually getting into the market and learning what works. Yes, quality matters and things should look professional, but don’t let perfection be the enemy of done. You don’t know what’s going to work until you actually put it out there and test it. The website itself is not the differentiator - getting traffic and eyeballs to it is what matters. Get something good enough out there, then improve it as you go based on real feedback and results, not imagined perfection.
