What should I do if I'm worried about devaluing past collectors by lowering prices or offering cheaper items?
You’re not devaluing anyone. First, if a past collector contacts you upset, be honest about your story and offer to help them however you can—they’ll understand. Second, when you have a wide range of media types, sizes, and price points, the pricing naturally varies. A small print on paper is priced very differently from a large original or a premium material. You’re not selling the same piece cheap—you’re offering accessible entry points. This is a self-limiting belief. Respect your collectors, but don’t let fear stop you from growing your business.
