What does 'you won't lose your job to AI, you'll lose it to somebody who uses AI' mean for artists?

This principle, stated by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, means that AI itself won’t replace you, but other artists who effectively use AI will have such a significant advantage that they’ll outcompete you. The scary part about ‘losing your job’ doesn’t really apply to artists since you create with your hands, which AI can’t replace. Instead, focus on the opportunity part: artists who embrace AI now can handle all the marketing, business tasks, content creation, and administrative work that previously took weeks, doing it in hours or less. Those who don’t adopt AI will be competing against those who have effectively gained an entire team’s worth of productivity. The advantage will be so significant that not using AI puts you at a severe competitive disadvantage in getting attention and selling your work.
