What should my initial outreach message say when pitching a giveaway?

Keep it short, sweet, and direct. Nobody has time for nonsense. A good template: compliment them on their content, pitch the idea directly, and provide a way to see your work. For example: ‘Hey [name], really appreciate your content. I had a crazy idea. I’m an artist and create work I think your group would love. Would you ever want to do a print giveaway to your audience? Love to talk about it. You can see my work here. Thanks, [your name].’ That’s it. You can add variations with humor or specific compliments on something they posted to show you’ve been following them. The real objective is just to start the conversation—get them to respond, and then the game is on.
