How do I figure out what price to set for my art?
Just price it - the market will tell you what the price should be. No one else can tell you what your pricing should be because your art is a unique product that cannot be compared to anyone else’s. Resist the urge to overthink this or ask for perfect pricing guidance, as that’s just perfectionism stopping you from taking action. Pick a price where you’re not losing money and test it. If it sells in a second, price it higher next time. The price you can command depends on multiple factors: the quality of the imagery, how well you can sell and describe it, how you talk about the inspiration - the whole package determines the price, not just the image itself. Early on when you’re not good at marketing and selling, you’ll probably command lower prices, but over time as you improve, you can increase them. Test different prices by offering the same or similar pieces multiple times at different price points.
