How do I translate my in-person sales skills to digital marketing?
Stop translating yourself into ‘corporate Instagram’ or a ‘brand newsletter’—translate yourself into the same human you are at a gallery opening. Use the same voice, the same stories, the same warmth, the same conversation style, the same vulnerability, and the same way you read a room. The platforms didn’t change the game; they just moved the room from physical space to a screen. Be you in person, digitally. Share what you’d share at an opening: chitchat, personal updates, process, humor, and yes, the art. The second you hit ‘publish,’ don’t turn into a faceless corporate entity. Stay human, and the skills you already have will work online.
