Should I be looking at my analytics when I'm just starting out with marketing?

No, you should not be looking at your analytics when you’re just getting started. In fact, stop looking at them entirely for the first few years. Early on, your focus needs to be on the production and shipping of content, not getting in the weeds with data. You won’t have enough data to make statistically significant decisions anyway, and all those metrics will just distract you from the one thing that matters: creating content consistently. The various analytics are shiny objects that will pull your focus away from building the consistent content creation habit that will actually grow your business.
