How do I record my computer screen to create a video showing a technical issue?

On a Windows PC, you can use the built-in screen recording function by pressing Windows + Shift + R simultaneously. This will change your cursor to a crosshair. Select the portion of your screen you want to record by dragging to create a rectangle, or select your full screen. A record button will appear at the top of the screen—click it to start recording.
