When I'm pivoting my art style or introducing a new product line, when should I start showing it to my audience?

Don’t wait until everything is finished to reveal your new direction. Share work-in-progress content while you’re still developing the new line. Record videos showing what you’re experimenting with, explain why you’re exploring this direction, and ask for feedback. This accomplishes two critical things: First, you get early validation—if hundreds of people say ‘That doesn’t look like you’ or ‘I don’t like this direction,’ you can adjust before investing months of work. Second, if people respond enthusiastically saying ‘I can’t wait to see the finished product,’ you know you’re on the right track and you’ve built anticipation. Make your audience part of the creative journey rather than just presenting them with a finished product they may or may not want. Early audience involvement prevents wasted effort and builds excitement for the launch.
