How can I use psychology to improve my chances of making sales when buyers are budget-conscious?

Understand that when people are asked a question, their brains naturally go on defense - it’s like guards appearing at the city gates and closing them. But statements leave the gates open because the mind senses no threat. Apply this: when your prospective customers are doing their own budget cuts, presenting full-price items triggers their defensive ‘we’re not buying anything full price’ response. But presenting the same items on sale works with their psychology - they feel they’re staying within their lean budget mindset. It’s all about wording and framing, not the actual price. Similarly, improving your offer so they get additional value for their money helps them justify the purchase. Work with buyer psychology, not against it.
