Why is having a range of price points important in my photography business?
The fundamental rules of business apply to art just as they do everywhere else. You must have a range of pricing that accommodates different buyers and purchase occasions. Not everyone is ready to buy wall art, and there are many valid reasons for this—timing, space, budget, or simply where they are in their relationship with your work. By offering products at multiple price points, especially items under $100, you create more opportunities for people to become customers. You also increase your bundling possibilities: someone buying a large, premium print can also add a coffee mug, phone case, or book featuring the same or complementary images. This range strategy maximizes both the number of people who can afford to buy from you and the total value of each transaction.
