How do I balance family responsibilities with being a full-time artist?

You have to work smarter and be extremely regimented with your time. When you have kids, your creative hours are limited – you might only get twenty-five hours a week instead of the seventy you had when single. Be disciplined: start early, eliminate distractions, skip lunch meetings, and maximize every available hour. Work on multiple projects to stay productive during short windows. Accept that this is a season of life – when your children are grown, you’ll have more time again. Use this period to develop business systems, strategic partnerships, and efficient workflows. The constraint actually forces you to be more strategic and less wasteful with your creative energy.
