I just sold a commission—three paintings someone is buying. Should I make a reel about it, and what should I include?

Absolutely make a reel—this is a huge win! If the paintings are still unpackaged at home, record panning shots and close-ups of details. If you haven’t signed them yet, film yourself signing. When you deliver them, have someone record the handoff moment and take a photo together with the buyer and the artwork (if possible). Later, ask the buyer to send a photo of the paintings hung in their new home for a final ‘This is its new home’ moment. Tie it all together with a voiceover or text explaining the story: how you got the commission, your creative process, color choices, etc. You could even make three separate reels from this one sale—commissions are a major revenue source, so showcase them loudly to attract more.
