I create many different types of art and don't have a clear niche. Is that a problem?
No, it’s completely fine not to have a niche. In fact, there are more successful artists without a clear niche than with one. You can absolutely create large paintings, small works, photography, and other varied pieces. You become the brand just as much as the artwork itself. Focus on who you are and what your story is rather than forcing yourself into a narrow category. Your audience will ultimately decide what resonates — not you. Don’t wait until you have everything figured out or until you’ve defined your niche. You can’t decide your niche anyway; your collectors decide it by what they respond to. Just start marketing what you have now.
