Should I find my niche first or test different things?
Don’t lock yourself into one identity or niche from the start. The most successful artists didn’t pick one thing and stick to it from day one—they got there by prototyping and testing different directions until they found what resonated most strongly. Once you’ve found something that’s validated by significant sales (hundreds of thousands of dollars), then you can go deep on that niche. But you discover that winning niche through experimentation, not by declaring it upfront. Start with market demand—find passionate audiences and create for them—rather than deciding what you’ll create first and hoping to find an audience.
