Email is the only thing you actually own in your marketing arsenal. Everything else is rented land - social media platforms can shut you down tomorrow and there’s nothing you can do about it. Your email list is the one currency you have left that you control. This makes building and maintaining an email list absolutely critical for long-term business stability, even if other platforms seem more exciting or get more immediate engagement.
