How do successful multi-million dollar art businesses structure their operations differently from struggling individual artists?

Multi-million dollar art businesses have full marketing teams of 3, 5, 7, or even 10 full-time marketing employees who do nothing but marketing work. They also have entire tech teams managing the website. The artist in these businesses does only one thing: create art and improve the product. When they expand their subject matter—say from painting only beaches to also painting cities—they potentially double their audience and increase their revenue ceiling. The artist gets to enjoy their life and focus on creation rather than tinkering with tech or trying to become a marketing expert. This is the fundamental structural advantage that has allowed these businesses to scale, and it’s been largely inaccessible to individual artists until now.
