What should I do if I'm nervous about going live on video for the first time?

Don’t worry about the first one—you’re going to be doing thousands of them. Everyone gets wound up about lighting, camera, tripod, mics for the first one. Some have no success, some success, something in between. That’s fine. The key is to do it again and again. You need the reps. Think of it like running a retail art gallery—would you be nervous when somebody walked in the door? No. You’re just running a retail art gallery that happens to be on the internet. The more you do it, the more comfortable you’ll become. Start with one and then go do a thousand more.
