What's the main difference between just having a website and having proper marketing support?

You don’t have a website problem—you have a marketing problem. A website is important and needs to look like an art gallery with proper presentation, but having a fancy website that nobody visits is worthless. The real work is learning how to drive eyeballs to that website consistently. This means learning how to market on Instagram and Facebook, how to capture email addresses, how to email those subscribers, when to run sales, what copy to use, and how to execute all year long. You need education, accountability, encouragement, and sometimes even mild harassment to keep you moving forward on marketing, because that’s the only thing that actually moves the needle on your business. Most artists fail because they focus on the website and neglect the much harder work of consistent marketing.
