Why do artists struggle with their websites, and what's the solution?
Setting up and maintaining a website is extremely difficult and technical — you don’t want to learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, domain management, plugins, and all the other technical details. It’s not a good use of a creative person’s time. The solution is to have someone else build and maintain your website for you so you can focus on creating art. You can also consider a service where you never have to update your website yourself — you simply tell someone what changes you need (add images, remove images, raise prices, add a gallery, update your artist statement, add a press section) and they do it for you. This frees you up to focus on creating and marketing.
