I'm terrified of being on video and hate how I look. How do I overcome this to do social media marketing?

Jump in the pool and just do it. The pendulum has swung back to authenticity. People are sick of the flashy, fake social media lives. The more authentic you are, the better. Crappy camera, messy hair, no makeup—that’s actually more engaging now. Be open and honest about your fear. Say directly: ‘I’m terrified of being on video, I hate how I look.’ That vulnerability will probably be your most engaged post ever because tons of people feel exactly the same way. They’ll rush in to support you. Don’t read the comments if it terrifies you—even joke about that. Just be 100% you. Consistency matters more than perfection.
