When should I launch my art website or start sharing my work?
If you’re not embarrassed by your first version, you’ve launched too late. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you start. Most artists look back at their early work and cringe, and that’s completely normal and okay. You need to just get started - it’s never going to be perfect initially. Launch your website, start sharing your work, and refine as you go. Waiting for perfection means you’ll never start, and you’ll miss valuable learning opportunities. The key is to begin, get feedback from the real world, and iterate based on what you learn. Perfection is the enemy of progress when you’re starting out.
