No. Don’t wait to create ten more pieces before validating. Take the two pieces you have now and go sell them. Find out immediately whether people will buy your work. If you spend months or a year creating more inventory without validating, you risk wasting massive amounts of time on work that may not sell. Validate first with what you have, learn from the market’s response, and adjust your creative direction accordingly. Speed and feedback matter more than volume of inventory at the validation stage.
