How do I know if my digital artwork files are high enough resolution to print at different sizes?

This is actually a non-issue that’s very easy to solve. When you upload your digital files to a print-on-demand system, it will automatically scan your image and immediately tell you what sizes you can print at. If the resolution is high enough, you’ll be able to go to the absolute limit that printers can print. If for some reason the resolution isn’t high enough, there are modern software tools that can upscale images. For digital artwork (as opposed to photographed physical art), you’ll have zero problems getting to high resolution. Save your files as high-DPI JPEGs. Don’t get hung up on this technical issue—it’s super easy to solve and shouldn’t be a limitation on your work.
