How can I use live video to test new artistic directions or get feedback on my work?
Instead of spending months in the studio creating 50 pieces to find your direction, use live video to get immediate market feedback. Create one piece, take it online right away, and see what kind of response you get. Then create the next one and test again. Do this four or five times and something will pop - you’ll get clear feedback about which direction resonates. This gives you massive validation much faster than traditional methods. You can even ask your audience directly what they’d like to see from you next, perhaps making it a contest where the winner gets a free print of whatever you end up creating. Start with the market and work backwards rather than creating in isolation and hoping it sells.
