What if I don't think my work looks good on certain print types like metal?
Don’t make that decision without actually testing it and, more importantly, without letting your customers decide. Many artists say their work doesn’t look good on metal or other materials, but they’ve never actually ordered a sample to see, and they’ve never shown it to potential buyers. Metal is one of the hottest-selling print types right now, and virtually all artwork looks phenomenal on it. Your job is to offer the options and let customers choose what they want—not to decide for them based on your untested assumptions. There are countless stories of artists who resisted offering metal prints, finally tried it, and immediately made sales on metal.
