How do I handle creative blocks or reconnecting with my art after time away?

Don’t force creativity or feel guilty about not creating. When you’ve been away from your studio (whether traveling, dealing with life, or illness), ease back in gently. Simply being in your studio space, even if you’re just working on your laptop surrounded by your art and supplies, can help you reconnect. Look at unfinished pieces. Be patient with yourself - inspiration will return. Some artists find that creating without pressure, just for fun while on vacation or during downtime, leads to breakthroughs. Accept that creativity ebbs and flows. The business work is also valuable, so days without creating art can still be productive days for your art business.
