Why are so many talented artists leaving money on the table even when they're working hard?
There’s a massive number of talented artists who understand the challenges of the business, have a product the market wants, are listening to customers, and are working diligently on their marketing. The problem is they’re still solopreneurs who don’t have the startup cash to invest in professional marketing help, and frankly don’t have the time to do everything themselves. You can’t scale as a single person—you’re not an octopus, you have two arms, and you need to sleep. Even when grinding on marketing, it’s really hard to do it all. The result is that tons of artists and photographers with incredible talent, market-ready products, and good work ethic are leaving tremendous amounts of money on the table. They could be selling significantly more if they had the bandwidth or resources to even 2X their marketing and sales initiatives, let alone 5X, 6X, or 7X them.
