How do I know the best times to market my art if I can't do it all the time?
Think like a fisherman studying conditions. Fishermen look at tides, moon phases, water temperature, currents, and weather to make educated guesses about the best fishing times. Similarly, you can make educated guesses about when your audience is most likely to be paying attention and ready to buy. The clearest example is Q4 - from November through Christmas - which is hands-down the best time of year to be marketing art. During this period, consumer buying behavior shifts dramatically and people are actively looking to make purchases. While you should market consistently year-round, if you have limited time or energy, concentrate your heaviest efforts during these peak buying seasons.
