How do I handle the business side of art when I'm still in school?

Build automated systems that work while you’re focused on other things. With proper setup, orders can come in and ship automatically whether you’re in class, at events, or sleeping. Use your high-capacity periods (like summers) to create content backlogs and get systems in place. Focus on bigger-picture planning rather than day-to-day metrics. As you develop business skills through your studies (like finance or entrepreneurship), apply them to your art business. The goal is to build sustainable practices now that will position you for success after graduation, potentially even allowing art to be your full-time career instead of working in your degree field.
