Why isn't posting my high-end art on social media generating sales?
Selling on social media has its own language—just like you’d need to speak Japanese to navigate Japan easily. If you went to Japan without knowing the language and came home saying it was impossible to get around, someone would tell you that you needed to know the language. Social media is the same. The language is NOT posting your high-end art repeatedly expecting sales. That’s like a fly hitting a window over and over—whack, whack, whack—trying the same thing expecting different results. Be like an ant instead: when an ant hits an obstacle, it immediately tries left, then right, and goes around. Selling art digitally means mixing your content (like creating memes to be entertaining and memorable), opening yourself up to lower-ticket, lower-commitment items for impulse purchases, and understanding that successful brands often don’t even post about their products—they focus on being memorable and entertaining. When you become memorable, sales follow.
