How do I know if I should keep marketing on a platform after it makes changes I don't like?

The only thing that matters is whether the platform still provides ROI and whether it offers cheaper access to attention than market rates. Market rates mean comparing the cost to alternatives—digitally or offline—like other ad platforms, radio slots, billboards, sidewalk shows, or magazine ads. All of these are ways of paying for attention and eyeballs. In almost all cases, it will take both money and time to get that attention. If the platform in question is still cheaper than those alternatives and still delivers results, keep using it. Check your emotion at the door and make an objective assessment based on cost and results.
