Live art shows give you all the benefits that retail galleries have enjoyed for years, but without the overhead, without giving up 50% commission, and without geographic limitations. You become your own international art gallery operating from your home. You control the timing, the presentation, and keep 100% of the revenue. This means the upper limit—the ceiling—of how much revenue you can generate has gone through the roof. What would have been secondary inventory for a gallery can now be your primary sales channel for brand new work, and anything that doesn’t sell immediately can become the backup inventory for other channels.
